The reserve can buy this

Rule 02 of the reserve policy is scarcity: a set has to be retired, or have a published retirement date, before any fee money goes near it. 10246 clears that rule, and like every box it would be bought factory-sealed and never opened.

Brickset lists an exit date of 31 Dec 2018; no longer sold by LEGO as of 2026-09-12. Checked 12 Sept 2026.
