The reserve can buy this

Rule 02 of the reserve policy is scarcity: a set has to be retired, or have a published retirement date, before any fee money goes near it. 10302 clears that rule, and like every box it would be bought factory-sealed and never opened.

Brickset's exit date of 31 Jul 2026 has passed, but Brickset's own availability field still reads 'Retail.' BrickEconomy projects a mid/late-2026 retirement. LEGO.com continues to sell it new as of 2026-09-12. Checked 12 Sept 2026.

What this box costs in trading

$13,333

of $BSTR trading volume funds one Optimus Prime at $179.99.

  1. 2.7% of every trade reaches the fee router as creator fees.
  2. 50% of that is the reserve's share, so 1.35% of volume becomes brick money.
  3. $179.99 ÷ 1.35% = $13,333 of trading for this box.

Retail is the yardstick. A retired set usually costs more on the secondary market, and the fee split is the one published on the strategy page.
