The reserve
The simulation
The Simulate switch fills the site with a made-up reserve so you can see what a full vault looks like. It never touches the real numbers.
What changes
Turn on Simulate in the header and a slider appears. Every counter, the war chest, the vault shelves and the acquisition log switch to a hypothetical reserve of 1 to 500 sets. A red Specimen stamp stays on screen the whole time, like the overprint on a sample banknote.
How it's generated
The simulation is deterministic: the same number of sets always gives the same reserve, for everyone. The first box is always the current target. After that, sets are drawn from the eligible list with these weights, bought at 90% to 102% of retail, one to three days apart.
What it never does
- It never shows a receipt, a photo or a transaction. Simulated entries say so in red.
- The Proof page and the money-out ledger ignore it and keep showing the chain.
- It never shows a market value or any gain. It counts boxes and what they cost, nothing else.
